Color Me Blue

So, let's talk about this outfit. It is a combination of many items from a few sources. I mean, you just never know where you might find something. So with that in mind, don't rule out where you could find something that you like.

First of all, the shirt with high heel came from The little accessories store inside of Super H Mart. $14.99 The belt is an old stand-by from who knows where-ago.

The really big red purse, one of my faves, is about 4 years old from Hubby.

Oh I love wearing boots in the winter! I would wear them in the Summer too if I could. These are micro suede with shiny spiky heels and buckles.

Hair and make-up by me!
And finally, here's my #thriftyfind: The mid-drift denim jacket was a #thrifty gift from my mom. It is very versatile and I love it.

Quick Blonde Roux Tutorial

Hey there,

Making a roux is relatively simple. The thing that is important is patience!
I use this one when I make alfredo sauce, cream soup, and more. You can use it whenever a recipe calls for a #Blonde Roux or White Sauce.

Cheers!

You'll need
Equal parts of butter & flour. I like to use a little oil and butter so that my butter won't burn.
Get your whisk ready!
Once your skillet is heated. melt the heat about a tablespoon of oil and 1 stick of butter.
Start with a cup of flour. Don;t worry, if it gets too thick, add a LITTLE oil. Keep stirring until smooth.

The roux is pretty much done at this point. I needed to alfredo sauce so I added the heavy whipping cream.
